I've been collecting sports cards and vintage photography for a long time — probably longer than I should admit. Hot Corner Collectibles is the version of a card shop I've always wanted to walk into: small, focused, honest, and built around pieces that actually have a reason to exist.

The shop centers on four things: sports cards, vintage postcards, real photo postcards, and the occasional sports-culture piece that's too good to leave on the table. Modern stars and vintage Hall of Famers share the same case as early 1900s town team photos and one-of-one RPPCs.

I look for story, condition, scarcity, and visual appeal — usually in that order. A creased common with a great image will win out over a clean card with no soul. I'd rather list fewer items and stand behind every one than flood the case with filler.

Everything ships the way I'd want it to arrive: properly sleeved, top-loaded, packaged for the post office actually handling it, and tracked. If something shows up wrong, I make it right.
